I am 27 years old. Former Computer Science Engineer. Studied at Polytech Paris Sud and The University Of Hong Kong.
I created a brand of clothing called Verset Paris as a side project during my time at uni. It lasted 3 years before my departure to Asia.
After graduation in 2017, I decided to take a year off. I traveled around Europe, participated to the Hacking Health Hackaton in Berlin, flew to French Guyana and assisted a beekeeper at La Miellerie de Macouria for 3 months. Then I came back to Paris and took the entrance exam at Les Gobelins to study 2D/3D animation but I failed.
I then discovered the tattoo world and decided I wanted to be part of that community ! I started drawing and promised myself to fill in a 100 pages book so I can show it as my portfolio.
At the 2018th edition of The London Tattoo Convention, I met with some of my favorite artists. Among them, an Italian artist I admire told me to come visit him in his studio so we can draw and tattoo together. Someone believed in me !
Before making the leap, I wanted to earn some money. So I found a full time job as a backend web app developer in New Caledonia at ISI.NC. It lasted 2 years. During this time, I bought an iPad and discovered Procreate. I am still playing around with it almost every day.
I saved money and invested in tattoo machines. I spent my lunch times and my weekends at a tattoo studio in Noumea during 3 months, got my hygiene certificate and tattooed a couple of friends.
I am now back in France and settled to Nice with a tattoo artist who I met in New Caledonia and who is now my mentor.
A tattoo parlor has offered me a place in their shop. I am finally starting this adventure !
