My name is Raphaël Dairon, I am a French illustrator based in Montreal. Passionate about illustration since I was very young, my graphic style has its roots in comics and its variants (graphic novel, Japanese manga or comic book to name a few). through these influences, I want the visuel to tell us a story and bring us into an unusual world.
My favorite theme is science fiction (especially robotics and astronomy). It is a perfect field of exploration for me because it involves imagination and dream. This source of inspiration pushes me to create more and more complete and immersive visuals. Whether it is on a sketchbook or on a wall, I like detailed lines and sophisticated drawings.
