— Structure of Innocence —
Using an improvised method, these abstract compositions are created with gestural movements, seeking the manifestation of the unconscious world and a childlike carelessness. Inspired by architecture and playgrounds, these works sketch out a world where cities are giant playgrounds for the workforce—the ideal space in which adults may reconnect with their childhood memories of spontaneity and innocence. Playgrounds and skyscrapers collide into abstract structures, bringing two worlds together. This communicates the societal pressure to detach from our child-self, suggesting a return to simplicity and wonder.
