What about Lil' ol' me?
Well I grew up in Reno, NV. Spent my senior year of high school and some other time in Southern California. Went to college in Idaho and am now living in Phoenix, AZ!
I've been an artist my whole life. I started taking it seriously in high school when I took all the Art AP classes I could. After high school when I was 18, I did my first public art show in downtown LA. I did a few other shows around Orange County and the So Cal area.
I attended BYU-Idaho and received a Bachelors in Art. I graduated in 2014, and my husband and I moved to Arizona for him to attend ASU.
Since moving to Arizona, I've really found who I am as an artist. Art is my everything (besides my family).
I am a passionate oil painter, though I also like to play with water colors and inks, and spray paint sometimes. I love experimenting with what kinds of new things I can use as my canvas. I've so far done skateboards, biker helmets, wood slices, Christmas Ornaments, glass, sea shells, shoes, and leaves.
I believe an artists job is to provide hope and inspiration in a crazy world like this. Nature is what inspires me. Looking at the stars makes me feel like there's more to life than just the every day 9-5 grind. And I want to bring that to my art, and hopefully to others.
