I am an award-winning artist painting in oils and pastels.
My passion with painting began when I won my first art contest at the age of six.
I hold a BFA from Indiana University and also studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. My art is in many corporate and private collections.
I am most passionate about pastels and am largely self-taught in that medium. I love the layering of color to build up nuances of color and light. Lately, I have also migrated into working with oil paints and am discovering painting on location or plein air.
Currently, I am working on a series about the history of my hometown.
