Who said geometry had to be boring?
This study was part of a series of experiments in using the "lasso painting" technique, which results in very sharp, clean edges. I wanted to see if I could strike a balance between sharp, harsh edges, and soft, smooth lighting
As with all the works I'm uploading, this was drawn and painted in Photoshop, with reference on a second monitor. No tracing, no AI, no "cheating" methods. I'm a big advocate of traditional skill building and improvement though practice!
