Hi, I’m Leonela. I’m a horror/macabre illustrator who’s inspired by music. The other main theme throughout my body of work is ‘kachou fuugetsu’, which is a Japanese concept of finding yourself through nature. It literally translates to ‘bird, wind, moon and flowers’ and mix it with using music as prompts to create my works in a dark, surrealistic way, taking things that aren’t usually seen as beautiful in the conventional sense.
