Whitney Salgado grew up in a small country town by Madison, Wisconsin. Once she graduated high school, she pursued a bachelor's degree in Illustration and minor in Communication Design. She is currently a freelance illustrator and digital painter that continues to live in Milwaukee, WI. She is available for commercial work.
She plays with color theory and themes related to mental health in her work. Her art is heavily based on the human form and subjects like dreams, feelings, and symbolism tie into her surrealistic portraiture.
