A smaller version of ōbeshimi, the compressed scale of its features creates a truly frightening and intense aura. A sharp glare emanates from the protruding, metallic gold eyeballs. I'm a nehiyaw artist, living in amiskowaciwâskahikan. I'm a traditional old school & portrait artist, I'm currently dabbling in portrait film photography & 90's grudge & wireframe pieces. I've been using these methods to modernize traditional indigenous art for the last few years now. The word wâpos is nehiyawewin (cree) for rabbit, which is why there's a wâpos in all my prints.
