Spiritual Warfare is the second installment of the ‘Good & Evil’ series. This series plays with the “angel and devil on a shoulder” trope. The aim is to add my own iconography to the mythos with these stories.
I like to think of this series as a fight for someone’s soul, fought on their shoulders. Since that’s the case, in 'Spiritual Warfare', I sought out to depict what one of those battles would look like in its most literal form. The piece is weathered to mimic old war photos and their age, demonstrating that this fight is as old as time itself.
