Experimenting with a more illustrative style. I have been influenced a lot recently by psychedelic, surrealist art. In particular stoner-rock album art. This image reminds of someone in a deep sleep, I find it quite calming to look at.
Painter/Illustrator from Sheffield. Primarily use acrylic ink but also graphite occasionally. I like to use Science/Science fiction as a basis for conceptualising imagery. The wonder and awe I feel when I think about the vastness of space is the same feeling I try and create with my work. Like the universe, I want my work to be beautiful but also dark, with an under-lying sense of dread and nothingness.
This is a gallery-quality giclée art print on 100% cotton rag archival paper, printed with archival inks. Each art print is listed by sheet size and features a minimum one-inch border.
