This piece is one of a set of works that explore the proposition of a flood resilient coastal settlement in Par Docks, England. It is the result of a two year study conducted in conjunction with the University of Cambridge which has produced not only new theories for resilience to flood risk but also visual representations of this new spatial paradigm. Par Docks is envisaged as the world's first flood resilient coastal settlement, a town that remains open to the sea whilst safe from it.
