Last summer, I travelled solo to the far reaches of inland China. The interior of each house in this ghost town rested in dim disrepair, yet there was still life where new leaves reached for the sun over crumbling stone.
I was a stranger to this town, in a way. How do you court a land as foreign as the moon?
