In my mind, there was an idea of a witchy, forest shaman who walks throughout the forest and helps animals and forest spirits in need of medical help. Then this idea has turned into more dark and mystical being. Soul Stitcher is a peculiar, grim fellow who specialises in necromancy and shamanism. He is a medic nonetheless and townfolks can seek his help in need. Although he doesn't deal with illnesses of a body but those of a spirit.
