Dreamwaves is an ongoing series of digital drawings that come from a meditative state of suspended reality. I sit and shut off the outside world while rendering these sometimes strange, ocean themed scenes. the series stems from a recurring dream where I find and ride perfect waves at my family cottage. it’s odd because the true location of the cottage won’t allow for ride-able waves to ever grace those shores. These dreams often leave me with a positive yet surreal feeling that I try to capture in this series of drawings.
