Feelings in Negative

negative headspace,
my thoughts are clouded by my ghost.
he’s old, withered, and very cold,
a curmudgeon in his soul.
the worst of evil thoughts now fill my fingers to the bone.
granules of color washed dead upon arrival,
survival’s not possible when i feel like a villain and very primal.
time to gather up the women and children and feed them to my rivals.
i’m more evil than it’s worth, you should run while you have the chance.
negative thoughts are clouding my love to dance.
the candle is unlit, it can’t move when i’m busy burning down the trees, fixed aim on the hurtful, the flame is vindictive in my hands.
this is what it looks like when i feel evil and vindictive.
my other side comes to light but is shrouded in shadow and smoke.
i feed my lungs with him. he’s addictive.
