Based on the German fairy tale of, "The Juniper Tree" by the Brothers Grimm. This sad tale follows a boy who was killed by his stepmother, and was buried beneath a magical juniper tree by his sister. He becomes a great, beautiful bird and sings the sad song of his death to all in the village, until at last, he takes his revenge.
