The initial idea for this painting came from the view of Los Angeles from the top of Runyon Canyon. I had the feeling of mist pulling through the city, mingling with the buildings and early risers. I'm fascinated with how our changing climate will effect weather in different cities and so I wanted to paint a massive metropolis being unveiled at sunrise by the first spark of day-light.
I love to draw and paint my fears and hopes. I'm fascinated with Earth and how humanity navigates the world. Climate change drives my work and inspires me to paint new environments and technology. Hope you enjoy my artwork!
