In the far western stretches of Mongolia, our trip was briefly brought to a halt when our chariot, a Soviet era jeep, broke down. We holed up in a small village while we figured out what to do next. I climbed up on top of the house of what would be our future driver and saw these two unlikely neighbors sharing a break.
