Romina Ramirez is a freelance illustrator from Oaxaca, Mexico. She specializes in editorial and licensing illustration. Her illustrations are rooted in magical realism influenced by her hometown Oaxaca and the books she read in her childhood. It is through her illustrations of maps, studies, guides, and moments that she wants to share the magic in our surroundings. A task she sees similar to that of a cabinet of curiosities, full of unexpected wonders, inviting the viewer to take a closer look.
