ALLEGED ATTEMPT TO SHOOT BROTHER ACCUSED SENT TO TRIAL By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, this day. Norman Allan Miller, aged 21, pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday to a charge of attempting to murder bis brother, David Hugh Miller, during a scuffle at the latter’s residence, Arlington Street, in which accused is alleged to have drawn a revolver and shot his brother in the side. Evidence was given that accused was drunk at the time and that the injuries inflicted were not serious. Accused was committed for trial, bail being allowed in a sum of £3OO. with two sureties of £3 00 each. He was ordered to report to the policy daily.
