"Mirror mirror on the wall,
Who is the rarest of them all?"
The name Rhinoceros directly translates to Nose horn. Rhinoceros have thick, protective skin. Relative to their large body size, they have small brains. Their horns are made from a protein called keratin, the same substance that fingernails and hair are made of.
Currently the conservation status of #whiterhino is threatened, #blackrhino is critically endangered and #indianrhino has vulnerable status.
Poaching for their valuable horns and habitat destruction are the main reasons for their threat. But no one in the world actually needs a Rhino horn but a Rhino.
