Golden hour paints a row of houses lining a field of autumn grass.
Ominous storm clouds, though rarely releasing their payloads, often hover over the Phoenix cityscape. The fall Monsoon Season, signaled by a change in the direction of the winds from out of the South to out of the northwest. The resulting in-flow of moisture often creates spectacular clouds and threatens the desert with rains that rarely come. At best, their drops evaporate before they reach the ground.
It's cliche to say that my work represents parts of myself.
My work often lacks focus but makes up for it with passion.
It is prone to overcast landscapes and casual nudity.
In my work, I strive for an ideal I hold in my head. It's a difficult ideal to nail down, often mired in Impressionism but wavering into Post-Impressionism, eroticism, contemporary street with a goth tinge, scribbles. I digress. Often.
