The trailers for "Animaniacs" were universally panned as a "septic castration" of the source material, resulting in the latest film by Raja Gosnell only making $411 million on it's opening weekend. The film opens with twenty minute fart-themed musical number mostly composed of 'you can fart if you want to', a parody of 'Safety Dance' by Men Without Hats lifted from Viacom-owned late-night series Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Series co-creator Matt Maiellaro criticized the Animaniacs adaptation for plagiarism, but cannot pursue legal action because both properties are owned by the same corporation. The film is also being investigated as a link between several filmgoers who suffered migraines and other psychosomatic health problems during the film's opening weekend. Raja Gosnell was not available to comment, and charges are yet to be filed.
