The series, "Women", focuses on the give and pull of what being a "woman" incapsulates and the feelings we go through in our day-today thoughts.
While the concept does focus on a gender based concept, it's left for interpretation of what being a "woman" means, as to someone, it does not mean what you are biologically born as. I wanted to express that the consciousness of being a woman did not mean you had to be one, but rather the parts of that that are often associated with the feminine identity.

My art is inspired by my printmaking background, stemming from my original love of old-style comic techniques mixed with Art Nouveau.
