The Me Too movement (or MeToo movement), with many local and international alternatives, is a movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault. #MeToo spread virally in October 2017 as a hashtag used on social media such as Twitter or Facebook in an attempt to demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace.
The German artist Wolf-Dieter Pfennig is known for his cheerful-ironic motives. His unmistakable drawings, graphics, paintings, and posters can be found in the Museum of Modern Art Toyama (Japan), in the Museum Lahti (Finland), in the Berlin Academy of the Arts (Germany) as well as in numerous private collections.
