Mangroves provide essential habitat for thousands of species. They also stabilize shorelines, preventing erosion and protecting the land, while keeping the water clean from pollutants.
Mangrove forests are able to store up to four times more carbon than other tropical forests.
Inspired by natural forms, Stéphanie Kilgast’s artwork is an ode to nature and its current biodiversity. Plants, mushrooms, insects and other animals encounter in a vibrant swirl of colors under her brush or sculpting tools.
