Print of my gouache painting “polymath” depicting a playful image of a drawing mannequin holding a violin. This image was my first gouache painting and to this day, is one of my favorites.
My work revolves around the human figure, and both the world we are able to see and that which resides within our imagination. Drawing most of my inspiration from the masters of the academicism movement, and the subject matter present within masterpieces created during the Renaissance and Baroque periods, my work exhibits symbols and allegories with the portrayal of the human body and the creatures we share this planet with.
