Swartmika belongs to my series 'Mythology Revisited'. The series started as a single poem and then blossomed into a series of paintings. Sawartmika in Indian mythology represents the soul of music. This painting reconstructs the mythology for the current era. It explores how the body and nature might merge into something unique and powerful.
I am an artist, poet, and editor living and working in Mumbai, India. Having worked primarily with watercolors for many years, I began exploring the world of digital painting a few years ago. Since then I have designed a mural for ‘The Earth’s Café’ in New Delhi, and have illustrated for a couple of books.
