Painted from a photo of an overflowing toothpaste tube.
I started drawing around 1995; in 1997 started a 2year part time Foundation course at Harlow College and thereafter went on to study at the University of East London, attaining a degree in Fine Art in 2003.
My art moves in alternating 'directions': photorealistic drawing, the practise of which generates technical expertise; while my paintings focus on the free evolution of organic patterns - patterns being the echoes of experience, reformulated and contextualised within the framework of the picture plane.
