“Fireflies” inspiration come from a mangrove jungle visitation. My dad was telling me that it is hard to see fireflies around jungle due to environment pollution. It is very heart broken, because our future generation may hardly see fireflies in where we live.
Right after that night, I started from sketching, paint with acrylic in 1 month. The idea is the fireflies represent light, hope and beauty of the nature. It reminds us that we need to seize and be grateful what we have. Besides, there’s some of the animals are facing extinction if we do not do protection.
In the nutshell, I hope this Illustration will remind you how blessed we are as we live in Malaysia.
