On August 10th, 2015 it finally happened. Scott Kelly – an Astronaut of the International Space Station (ISS) – takes a historical bite. The first time ever a man gets to taste a plant that grew up far away from home – out of a seed. Until now it is just red romaine lettuce, but big plans are made already. The possibility of fresh food, recycled water and a natural source of fresh oxygen are only the most obvious advantages, but above all, it brings us one step closer to our dream of traveling into deep space.

I love to tell a story. In my work you can find hints and symbolism that supports the narrative.
