One of my favorite subjects to paint are people; usually I love color matching their skin tones but for this painting I decided to go with a more unrealistic, zesty feel.
I am an oil painter currently pursuing an architecture degree at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, Massachusetts.
Within my paintings, I try to capture unique facial expressions on whoever (or whatever) is in the piece. With the use of certain brush strokes and color combinations, my goal is to evoke emotion in both the subject within the painting and the spectator. Such emotions may include anger, pleasure, grief, fear, and more.
