This piece is a personal project in which I aimed to portray the fear of loss. This suffering is represented by the classical Medusa’s snakes, covered in fur and bold colors, as to that of a soft toy, reminding not to take fear too seriously, because of its ephemeral nature.
Mikel Cámara grew up in Bilbao, Spain, surrounded by psychotherapists. His body a work is of psychological significance, with great emphasis on surreal compositions and mostly autobiographical.
