Hsinchu Girls’ High School Centennial Celebration
Congratulating a century of elegance and brilliance, where the years flow like a melody and youth feels like a dream.
Under the eaves of this small auditorium, the footprints of a hundred years remain.
At 93 years old, it still stands silently,
witnessing countless youthful spirits soar and dreams take flight.
The breath of youth, like colorful balloons in hand, rises with the wind,
drifting from this campus to every corner of the world,
radiating light and pursuing the brilliance of life’s chapters.
Though I graduated long ago, the campus I remember has long changed its appearance.
And now, my own child has reached the age where their youth blooms,
just as I once did.
Illustrator Max Yeh, head of Yezi Studio, is a native of Hsinchu, Taiwan. As a child, he rode her bicycle through the streets and alleys of Hsinchu, sketching, photographing, and exploring. Now, working in education, he continues to use artistic tools to document the landscape.
