We all talk about Art being in Isolation. But what about the Muses? I want to show a humorous, jet beautiful view on what and whom can no longer inspire us because of the Pandemic. What do the Muses do when they are out of their jobs, sitting at home?
Lucie Langston is an illustrator and comic artist based in Europe. During her turbulent childhood drawing was her escapism and later became her voice to reflect life.
She studied with Monika Aichele and Julia Bernhard at University of Applied Sciences Mainz where she was influenced by women of illustration emerging from “Neue Mainzer Schule”. The autobiographical comics by Ulli Lust changed her life and a detailed, often atmospheric yet thought-provoking style developed.
She has worked with the New York Times Opinion among others.
