This artwork was originally created as a backdrop for an event to benefit Fleet Farming, a non-profit urban agriculture program of IDEAS For Us whose mission is to empower all generations to grow food to increase local food accessibility. The organization's Vision is to create localized food systems that bring communities together towards a healthier, more connected world in harmony with people and planet.
The event was held at East End Market on November 14, 2017, and this official poster commemorates that date.
Your purchase of a print will directly benefit this important local non-profit, and will continue to support the mission of Local Love Foundation Orlando, namely to raise funds and awareness for small, local non-profits and emerging artists.
About the artist: Hillery Powers is a muralist and designer specializing in hand lettering and illustrated maps, both for clients and her print company Little Known Goods. Local Love Foundation Orlando raises funds and awareness for small, local non-profit organizations by partnering with local emerging artists and hosting events to encourage the next generation of philanthropists.
Our promise to you: 50% of the proceeds of every sale will be donated directly to the beneficiary organization listed on each piece. The remaining funds will help with Local Love Foundation's operating costs, and also to host future fundraising events when we are able to.
