This illustration was inspired by a painting in the Fesch museum in Ajaccio - I visited the musuem during my first week living in the city, and the piece always reminds me of the whirlwind of adjusting to life in a new country.
I'm an artist and illustrator from North Wales. I've been drawing since I can remember and started teaching myself to draw digitally in 2016. I studied Illustration at the University of South Wales and graduated with 1st class honours in 2019. I spent the following months working in a school in Ajaccio, Corsica, before returning home during the pandemic. Though I've been working part-time as an illustrato for over two years, I took the plunge to go full time freelance in March, and I'm so happy I did!
