The last rays of dusk slide off a shimmering beach into the tide where they breach the horizon, meet the set sun, and line the clouds. A lone witness to the event turns away from such beauty for one glance was enough. In coming times this sage's story would spread across the lands of how the light came to grace the clouds.
Born and raised in Hawaii, I've been around natural beauty all my life. Through college I dabbled in many different media and determined that of the arts, traditional drawing was what I most enjoyed.
I believe that much of the beauty of art comes from the ability for the artist to discover through mistakes; a trickle of paint that couldn’t have been planned, a line askew that forms the spine of inspiration. Repercussions are part of the human existence and I choose to replicate that experience in my art so as it may become more beautiful an endeavor.
