This piece was done for another poem for the poetry blog My Little Grasp of Hope. This piece is about how everything can go great one second and than fall apart in a split second. After thinking about the many ways I could show this, I thought about something that has fascinated me for years..... breaking a game. Growing up playing video games, it was really intriguing to see a character phase through a map occasionally. Even when I heard explanations of how it happened I still just found the whole idea conceptually awesome. So I wanted to show this character who has accidentally phased through the game map and the game world is pixelating/falling apart around them.
I am an illustrator and fine artist who loves to paint and draw an interesting story. "What defines an interesting story?", you may ask. "One that naturally addresses themes, concepts and/or viewpoints that are not typically in the main stream", I reply.
Always have gone to the beat of my own drum and its given me a unique, eccentric, outsider perspective on people and story.
