Trolls are known for making the rocky caves of the high mountains their homes, here they can hide themselves away from the sun and await nightfall or for a thick cloud cover that would let no sun beams through. Most trolls opt for slumbering through the day beneath the mountain peaks, the more restless emerge when the clouds are thickest. This is one such troll, a younger one, he's not yet developed a second or third head. Being young and having but a single skull on his shoulders, this troll feels the need to prove himself by spending every sunless moment he can hunting the mountain slopes. He devours any animals he comes across and takes the heads of the humans he pummels with thrown boulders or that he tears open with the branch he wears upon his forearm. He believes that stuffing his guts as much as possible and wearing the heads of his foes that he will begin to grow his other heads like those that his older kin sport upon their shoulders.
It should be said that this isn't how it works.
