"The common thread that binds, The truth it does reveal, only the broken can heal." - This line from the fantastic Comrades song "This Ends With Me" struck a chord deep within me when I first heard it a few years ago, and slowly this piece came together, figures, united through a shared brokenness and a shared healing process.
Created mostly in Procreate, then final tweaks in Photoshop.
For me art is a way of expressing inner thoughts, questions, and doubts, and also of trying to, in some way, describe those things we cannot quite put into words. It allows me to explore difficult issues, problems, but also joys and loves, it frees me to express myself in a way that allows others to perhaps examine a part of themselves and look deeper within.
