Kenneth Zenz is a mixed media artist currently living in Chicago Illinois. He began making art as an outlet to describe his experiences with queer identity and illness. His work grew to focus on bodily sensation, drawing influence from science fiction pulp illustration, religious art, and anatomical studies.
Using his experience in multiple traditional mediums he has created a unique artistic language in his most current work. The pseudo-divine creatures presented in his illustrations display a relationship between beauty, power, internal conflict and sickness.
