Shark Week Day 7: Gummy Shark (Least Concern)
Like their sugary counterpart, the actual gummy shark has sweet and delicious flesh. They are commonly used for the traditional “fish and chips” but are also used in barbecuing, poaching, braising, and baking. They can grow up to 1.75 m or 5.741 feet and live up to 16 years. They have white spots along their back. They are usually caught using gillnets, longlines, and trawl nets.
Illustrator. I love cooking, gardening, and birds! My favorite birds include albatrosses, spoonbills, and penguins!
