My friend had a dog of Whippet breed, named Archimboldo, or abbreviated Archik. It was the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. Its dog's beauty was so captivating that was shown in everything - in character, and in the graceful shape of the body. Whatever and wherever the dog was it looked as a finely chiselled sculpture. And kindness that emanated from it, created the atmosphere of fabulousness. For few years I have watched as the pet grew and became just more beautiful. So one day I decided to draw it. In the process of working on Wippet portrait I came up with the idea; if in the environment of animals there were animals -magicians, they would be Wippets! Of course it was an association with the hands of a magician-manipulator. His long thin graceful fingers, quick and agile, strong and beautiful in its wonderful plasticity, isn't it characteristic of Whippet dogs? The last thing to do was to put an imaginary cylinder on the head of this amazing dog and arm him with a magic wand, and a magician Wippet is ready. As for the fact that the dog was given the nickname "Archi" in honor of a wonderful artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo, could not somehow mysteriously fail to affect my desire to transform the dog into a magician. As objects, fruits and vegetables are transformed into portraits of the brilliant paintings by Arcimboldo.
