From the series “The Last Shadows” whose theme is focused on the darkness of the human condition and its relationship with nature and its process. Through a character called “Kabümbra” I make an intervention to different photographs of abandoned landscapes that I have collected in my travels from all over the world. The process involves analogue, photography and digital media.

As a multi-disciplined artist, I work and experiment with different materials and media; paint, collage, fabric,digital art, animation ,music and performance. As a world traveler, I seek to integrate different cultures, ancient and recent with my own iconography. Recurrent themes in my work revolve around ambiguity, identity and sexuality. Using many different approaches, I attempt to explore psychological and emotional states of being to investigate our shadow selves.
