The first launch of SpaceX's crew dragon capsule, on it's test launch to the ISS. My job is to shoot video for a local ABC news station in Central Florida, and it's because of this job that I have access to KSC and CCAFS. I pay homage to my job in this shot, as the rocket streaks over our satellite truck.
I'm a photojournalist of 10+ years, who resides and works in Orlando, Florida. I have been photographing the space coast, and the amazing rockets that launch from the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Base, since 2015.
I believe that there is something truly awe inspiring about each launch. The engineering, science, technology, and manpower that goes into each mission is what drives me to get up at 3 in the morning and drive out to to try to capture something worthy of the beauty that is space flight.
