Goldie’s medium of contact with the community is through his 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado custom. The pimpmobile in its extravagance is set in stark contrast with the modest Oakland neighborhood, as represented by the old car graveyard, oddly placed in a residential neighborhood.

The city is a character in itself, animated and reshaped by everyday desires and acts of ownership! As a native of Los Angeles, she is my biggest inspiration, to be celebrated through art. I worked hard to return home and to continue to learn and create.
