Orome was a hunter and the warden of the forests of Middle Earth, and it was during one of his hunts that he found the first elves in their birthplace deep in the woods. He led them on the long journey to the Uttermost West, and through the darkness brought them into the light of the Two Trees.
I paint sad flowy ladies, which is a flippant way of saying that I am really fascinated by the stories that can be told of defeat and despair and smallness, because there is often a piercing beauty to be found in them.
