Sugriva was the twin brother to the ancient monkey king Vali. As the timid one, Sugriva was not rash, but rather would mediate the risk at hand to determine what’s best for his people. In a tragic misunderstanding with his brother, he was exiled from his kingdom but eventually regained the crown and place in his kingdom, but at the cost of his brother’s life.

We were always intrigued by our culture, the traditions and the many stories passed down by our elders. Humble Raja explores and shares our culture through graphic design and illustration.
